We have recently decided to change some of our booking policies and wanted to let you know here, before you book. We have come to realize that as a family, (we live here on the property and work here full time), that we need some time off for ourselves for rest and play. We too love Costa Rica (why we bought PE) and we moved here to enjoy this together as a family. We had no idea that we would be booked almost all year round, so our new policies reflect what we feel necessary to be an authentic eco lodge and to take care of our needs as a family.
So unless you are staying for an extended stay with us (4 days or more) there will be no check ins on Sundays. You may check in on any other day of the week. Ex: Book Friday – Monday or Thursday – Sunday (These are simply examples and NOT days you must book) but no actual check ins on Sunday. This is so we can share Sunday (after breakfast with you all) with our friends and family exploring this beautiful area ourselves.
We also have changed Cabins 2, 3 & 4 to a 2night minimum. As an eco lodge, this makes more sense for so many reasons (Less water usage, less energy usage etc.) but most importantly 1 night is never enough time at this beautiful sanctuary. It truly is a special place and I promise once you get here, you will understand why we changed this. Plus you really need to experience our most epic sunsets at-least 1, if not 2 nights for sure.
Our new policies: There is a 2 night minimum (Except Cabin 1) and no Sunday Check-ins.
The other good new is that if you do choose to stay longer, 3 days or more with us, you will also receive a discount code for 5% off your stay. Use Discount code: 3NIGHTS during check out.
Exceptions / Booking Whole Property: If you are renting out all four cabins for 3 or more days, you may check in any day of the week.
